At Villagres, we strive to minimize environmental impact through the conscious use of resources, the reuse of materials, energy efficiency, and proper waste management, reinforcing our commitment to responsible and more sustainable production.
Implementation of a dry filtration system in the atomizer and grinding machines, controlling particle emissions in accordance with the environmental requirements of the State of São Paulo and reintroducing the collected material into the production process.
We eliminated water from the grinding process, saving the equivalent of 3 Olympic-sized swimming pools of water per year.
We work with thicknesses between 7 and 9mm in all formats, thus reducing the consumption of natural resources such as clay, natural gas and water.
Through energy efficiency projects – such as the implementation of a new atomizer and a heat recovery system for the furnaces – we have avoided emitting 4,000 tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere per year.
On average, 40,000 m³/year of water used in production is reused.
100% of the solid waste generated in production is reintegrated into the production process. This reduces the volume of raw materials extracted from nature.
Approximately 240 tons of Villagres packaging are recycled annually through reverse logistics with @eureciclo. This equates to 400,000 medium-sized cardboard boxes being recycled, meaning more than 4,000 trees are saved from being cut down.
